Sleepy Days and Restless Nights

About a month ago I was wondering when that really tired stage of my pregnancy would begin. I remembered it so clearly with Hailee, being wiped out at work and wanting to go to bed at 7:30 but hadn't experienced it with this little guy yet. Until this past weekend! It was like a freight train hit me on Sunday and I had zero energy! Yesterday was the same, as soon as Nathan and I put Hailee to bed last night, we watched some TV and I was going to try to go walking, but just couldn't....went to bed at 8:45! I'm also in that have to go to the bathroom on average of three times nightly stage and can't get comfortable sleeping anymore, I have three months to go! I gotta say though, this morning was much better getting that extra rest, sometimes you just have to listen to your body.

I am nearing the six month mark and cannot believe it has gone by so quickly. Well, I guess I can a little. It has been a busy summer for us!

On another note altogether, can I say how much I love my work hours! I know you're thinking, where did that come from. Let me enlighten you. Last night, I was home at 5:10, my Dad was there, Mom was pulling in and then shortly after, Nathan and Hailee pulled up. We all had dinner together by 6:00 and then had the rest of the evening to spend together. And my Fridays, ahhhh...they are great! I have the best job ever!

Home is Where The Heart Is

Here's the latest on the house. The roof is on, windows are in, electric, heat, air, insulation, and sheetrock are complete! Next week, they are supposed to start the brick work and lay the tile pending the yucky rain weather! We can't wait to get in.

Leslie took this very close shot of Hailee, thought it was pretty cute.

Here's a pic of my very adorable niece, Emily Rae. Leslie picked the bow folks.

Fun Pics

I love this picture! This is Hailee and Dylan watching Papa mow the yard out the back window at the Choctaw house.

Here, Hailee got a new bean bag that she loves sitting in while enjoying some cheerios.

Hailee and Daddy asleep in her big girl bed, how sweet.

It's A Boy!

It's been confirmed... all american boy in my belly! I must say that I am still in disbelief. I was so sure for the past 5 months that it was another little girl, there was no doubt in my mind. Nathan and I went for the ultrasound this afternoon. The tech was getting sizes and measurements for about the first twenty minutes, and I was like, come on already, can you see anything? Well, baby was not cooperating and had his legs criss crossed for awhile. I moved around a bit and eventually he spread em. Then, the tech said, can you see that? And I said, uhhhh... She said that's a boy part there. Nathan said my expression was priceless and that he's gonna put it on you tube. Ha Ha Nate! The thought of a little boy just somehow baffles me, I have no idea what to do with a boy, I guess I was the same with Hailee. But, I was raised around so many girls, that's what I know...guess I'll learn, right? I have no choice. Really, we are both very excited and know that we are extremely blessed with such an amazing gift.

We told Hailee tonight and then she said, "I want strawberries!" (she loves strawberries now, her new favorite) so I know she hasn't a clue. It was pretty cute actually. Then, when I was laying her down for bed tonight, she kissed my belly and said, "night, night brother." Too cute!

I have a wonderful, wonderful family and great friends and people in my life, thank you Lord for all your blessings.
