Hip Hop Dance... Beginners Course

As most of you know Nathan likes any music with a beat, he loves to dance! He is trying to instill that passion into his children. While I'm not a fan of some of the music he picks, it does make for some truly entertaining moments. Above are the happenings of this evening when he introduced this to Jackson.

Snow Day

As much as I can't stand the sleet and snow kind of weather (and icy roads that come with it sometimes) in Oklahoma, I have really enjoyed my day. My work closed down, as well as Nathan's, due to the road conditions, so we got to enjoy a day at home with the kids! Nathan took Hailee out to explore in the snow, which didn't last long. I layered her up as much as possible, but I think her little nose got cold! Poor Jackson had to stay inside with Mommy.

Funny Hailee

Nathan told me this morning, after I had already left for work, when Hailee woke up she was out of it and stumbling around trying to wake up. Nathan told her, "Hailee, we're getting a new President today." She said, " I wanna open it." I thought that was too funny not to share.

All Dresed Up

Our Song

Dragon tales and the "water is wide"
Pirate's sail and lost boys fly
Fish bite moon beams every night and I love you
Godspeed, little man, Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
Godspeed, Sweet dreams
The rocket racer's all tuckered out
Superman's in pajamas on the couch
Goodnight moon, we'll find the mouse and I love you
Godspeed, little man, Sweet dreams, little man
Oh my love will fly to you each night on angels wings
God bless mommy and match box cars
God bless dad and thanks for the stars
God hears "Amen," wherever we are and I love you
Godspeed, little man, Sweet dreams, little man and I love you
I've always liked this song and it's lyrics, but it never had a lot of meaning to me personally...now I have Jackson.
